Androgen synthesis inhibition but not gonadectomy reduces persistence during strategy set-shifting and reversal learning in male rats

Abstract: Androgens regulate behavioural flexibility, which is essential to adapt to a changing environment and depends on the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC).
