Another Case of Haemolytic Transfusion Reaction due to Incompatibility without Demonstrable Antibodies

Abstract: Summary A haemolytic transfusion reaction is reported in which no incompatibility was demonstrable in vitro. The determination of the survival time of 51Cr‐tagged red cells from several donors showed markedly different disappearance rates. A specificity of the incompatibility was therefore suspected.
