Our previous study described the anti-atherosclerotic effect of ACE in apoE knockout mice (Shin et al, 2014), and the present study was the first to evaluate the anti-hyperlipidemic properties of both ACE and its constituents, A. iwayomogi and C. longa, in isolation.
