Abstract: Aims: This study was carried out to evaluate the antibacterial activity of aqueous and ethanol leaf extracts of Ocimum gratissimum and Carica papaya against selected clinical isolates of Gramnegative bacteria and to also determine the phytochemical constituents of the plants.
