Antibiogram of Enterococcal Species Isolated From Clinical Specimens in a Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital

Abstract: BACKGROUNDEnterococci are Gram-positive cocci that are normal inhabitants of the gastrointestinal tract. Enterococci have become the second most common agent recovered from nosocomial UTI and wound infections and the third leading cause of bacteraemia.
