Antigen-selected, immunoglobulin-secreting cells persist in human spleen and bone marrow

Abstract: IntroductionPlasma cells (PCs) are terminally differentiated immunoglobulin (Ig)-secreting cells (ISCs) responsible for humoral immunity. [1][2][3] ISCs can arise from several differentiation pathways.
