Antimicrobial resistance, biofilm production and invasion of mammary epithelial cells by Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus mundtii strains isolated from bovine subclinical mastitis in Brazil

Abstract: Significance and impact of the study: Bacterial strains isolated from bovine subclinical mastitis were identified as Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus mundtii. Enterococcus faecalis and E. mundtii strains recovered from different farms were mostly clonal, suggesting possible cross-transmission among animals in the region.
