Objectives To determine the variability in therapeutic apheresis (TA) and non‐blood donor related apheresis practices, and the extent of expertise and knowledge of blood centre staff. Background Apheresis activity that was earlier limited to therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) and donor apheresis at few centres in India has seen remarkable surge involving many centres practising TA and non‐blood donor related apheresis. The decentralised transfusion medicine practice in country has resulted in wide variability of knowledge and practice of TA. An online survey was conducted to achieve study objectives. Study design and methods A 22 questionnaire survey was sent to the 215 blood centres through e‐mail link focussing on three aspects; basic information of the participating centres, details of TA procedures and education and training levels of the staff. Results Majority (71.9%) of centres were teaching institutions among analysed 57 centres. TPE (85.9%) and therapeutic cytapheresis (71.9%) were the most common TA procedures. The clinical haematology (68.4%) followed by neurology (64.9%) were the specialities utilising TA. The 64.9% centres used continuous flow cell separator and central venous access (52%) was preferred vascular access. A combination of normal saline, fresh frozen plasma and 5% albumin replacement fluid was first choice. Doctors involved in TA were trained in apheresis during their MD/DNB degree, but no structured training program existed for other category of staff. Conclusion There was a wide variability in TA practice in India and a dedicated training program for all categories of staff was emphasised by majority of participants.

The fundamental problem in business is the low readiness of occupational therapists as experts. In addition, the low job readiness of therapists is exacerbated by the low absorption of prospective therapists. LSP P3 competency certification is an essential program for improving spa therapists' work readiness and labour absorption in the tourism industry. This study aims to analyze how much influence the competence of the LSP P3 Junior Spa certification on Asesi's work readiness and Asesi's absorption in the spa tourism industry. Ex-post facto research with a quantitative approach. A total of 66 respondents of spa therapist assessment were included in this study as a sample. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a 4 Likert scale questionnaire instrument. Data analysis was performed using regression analysis and SEM analysis. The results showed that the LSP P3 Junior Spa Therapist competency certification had a significant effect on Asesi's work readiness and Asesi's absorption in the tourism industry in the spa sector. The certification program must improve the quality of its implementation. Educational and training institutions must organize various competency certification programs that are even more optimal, especially when competency testing must be carried out in-depth material by the perceptions of the spa therapist workforce.

The lack of use of video media in the learning process causes students to have difficulties in learning. This research aims to develop audiovisual learning media tailored to the needs of today's learning. The test subjects in this study consisted of several experts and students. The experts consist of learning content experts, learning design experts and learning media experts and involve grade V students to conduct individual trials and small group trials. This development research uses ADDIE development model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation) as systematic steps in the product development process. The data collection method in this study consists of observations, questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Based on the results of product trials, the instructional video was declared feasible by the test subjects, namely learning content experts, learning design experts, learning media experts and students. The results of the evaluation of the learning content expert obtained a percentage (95.83%) with very good qualification, the results of the learning design expert's assessment obtained a percentage (94.23%) with very good qualification, the results of the learning media expert's assessment obtained a percentage (85.00%) with good qualifications and the results of student assessments through individual tests obtained a percentage (94.00%) with very good qualification, and the results of student assessments through small group tests obtained a percentage (95.83%). Based on the results of the product trial, it is concluded that the developed learning videos in very good qualifications and suitable for use in the learning process.
