The article on screen aims to analyze opportunities for continuity in the academic training process of people who have graduated from the Undergraduate courses in Rural Education at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), the only state institution that offers courses on a regular and permanent basis. The discussion was produced from the analysis of documents containing research results about the experiences of graduates and news published on the official website of UFPI. The theoretical framework is supported by Batista and Silva (2020); Molina (2017); Paz, Arrais and Mota (2017); Silva, Bendini and et al (2020). The news and books analyzed suggest a relationship between the educational proposal of Degrees in Rural Education and the continuity of the graduates' academic life, since singular aspects of the training proposal of these Degrees are highlighted in them such as the Pedagogy of Alternation and involvement with extension actions in rural communities.
