The main aim of this paper is improve the high voltage electrostatic separation efficiency of roll-type electrostatic separator. To this end, a method of controlling the roller to obtain the best rotate speed was introduced. Experiments of system design were performed on 315-2DP type Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) produced by Siemens, E6B2 - CWZ6C encoder provided by Omron and MM440 converter obtained from Siemens. According to the nature differences of the separation particles, presetting the roller rotation speed in the upper machine. Then it is downloaded to the PLC. Through the tail encoder of the motor to receive the signals, calculating the roller speed and feedback to the PLC to control the converter, then formed a closed-loop control system of the motor speed.

Power and Vibration of Electrostatic Precipitator Control Based on FPGA

In order to improve the automation level of the electrostatic precipitator, we used Very-High-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language (VHDL) language to compile, emulate and optimize the control system of power source and vibration. In the design of Quartus platform, we used EP1C3T144C8 Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) chip to realize high voltage power supply, alarm and protection system. We also realized the compilation and simulation test of each part’s function of 20 s rapping and 40 min rapping cycle. At the same time, we recorded the waveform of simulation. It demonstrated that the validity of the relevant VHDL compilation. We used this method to achieve the optimization control of the electrostatic precipitator operating parameters. It has a strong practicability.

The main aim of this paper is to improve the control efficiency of the sewage treatment system, by analyzing the various control parameters of sewage treatment system and comparing different ways of automatic control, Siemens S7-200 Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) is applied to the system. We designed the control flow charts of coarse grid and dewatering system, compiled the total manual program and automatic control program of aerated grit chamber by using STEP 7-Micro/WIN 32 software, and realized the related equipment automatic control in the sewage treatment system which can run the coarse grid machine that runs for 20 minutes and stops for 2 hours alternately et cetera. The results show that the controllability of sewage treatment system is enhanced and the efficiency is improved.
