Application of the phenomenon of a surface plasmon resonance for controlling the process of polymerization of optical adhesives

Show more

“…Nowadays, there exists is an intensive development of registration, processing, and information storage instruments. As information becomes a strategic resource of society, its storage requires constant improvement of sensory measuring transducers, which ultimately boils down to increasing the productivity of the information measuring systems [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ]. One of the broad classes of sensor transducers are optical sensors, where the information about the object of study is provided by converting optical radiation into an electrical signal, and their principle of operation is based on the laws of optics.…”

“…Optical methods have several advantages over electrochemical and mechanical methods. The most widely used optical methods are absorption, fluorescence, spectrophotometry, chemiluminescence, photoplethysmography, and surface plasmon resonance [ 2 , 5 , 6 , 7 ].…”

“…The diagnostic SPR devices have high sensitivity to low concentrations of analyzed substances, which allows using them as precise analytical devices in various investigations. Shown in the work [6] is the possibility to apply the SPR method for determining the refraction index of photopolymer adhesives. Performed there are the calculations of the speed and duration of photopolymerization process in them.…”
