Circunscribiéndose principalmente a poblaciones escolares urbanas, han atendido a las particularidades de la calidad de vida relacionada a la salud con relación a la edad, el sexo, el estrato económico familiar, el rendimiento escolar, patologías especificas agudas y crónicas, el estado de nutrición, entre otros condicionantes (Cordero y Cesani, 2018;2019;Cordero, Mamondi, Berra y Cesani, 2017;Güedes, Villagra Astudillo, Moya Morales, del Campo Vecino y Pires Júnior, 2014;Mamondi, 2011;Núñez Rojas et al, 2010;Quiceno y Vinaccia, 2013;Quintero, Lugo, García y Sánchez, 2011;Urzúa, Caqueo-Urízar, Albornoz y Jara, 2013;Urzúa, Cortés, Prieto, Vega y Tapia, 2009; Vinaccia Alpi y Quiceno, 2012).
