Aqueous in‐situ electrosynthesis and electrochromic performance of PEDOT:PSS/Reline film

Abstract: Poly(3,4‐ethylene dioxythiophene) (PEDOT) is a promising electrochromic material in many practical application, such as smart windows and displays. However, there are still difficulties in currently realizing green manufacturing, high coloration efficiency, and rapid response. Herein, in‐situ electrochemical polymerization of PEDOT:PSS/Reline films was suggested in aqueous solution. Deep eutectic solvents (DES) composed of choline chloride and urea (Reline) were employed as green solvents in reaction system an… Show more

“…[7][8][9][10][11][12] Noble metal materials, such as RuO 2 and IrO 2 , are recognised as the most effective electrocatalysts for OER, but their high costs and scarcity restrict their large-scale utilisation. [13][14][15][16][17][18][19] Therefore, highly active and stable non-noble metal electrocatalysts for OER must be developed urgently. [20][21][22][23] To date, considerable works have been devoted to exploring various non-noble metal electrocatalysts with high stability and brilliant performances, such as phosphides, oxides, sulfides and hydroxides.…”
