Articular spacers in two-stage revision arthroplasty for prosthetic joint infection of the hip and the knee

Abstract: Use of articular antibiotic-eluting cement spacers during two-stage revision arthroplasty for prosthetic joint infection (PJI) is a long-established and proven adjunctive technique during first-stage surgery.
