Artificial intelligence. What is domain skill? Frames in information seeking

Abstract: This article analyzes the role of domain skill in information seeking by individual human beings. It discusses the form and content of information in long-term memory ("knowledge"). Issues relating to acquisition and retrieval processes are surveyed. Special attention is paid to so-called feature analytic models or frame representations.
