Asmari Limestone of Iran: A Giant of Oil and Gas Production

Abstract: The authors present a discussion of the Asmari limestone reservoir of Iran. Lithology and diagenesis (especially dolomitization) are presented together with some performance characteristics. In addition, preliminary data on microbiostratigraphy is included.
