Aspects Regarding the Establishment of the Scale Coefficient in the Case of Distances Measurements in an Geodetic Network

Abstract: The paper analyzes the possibility to establish the coefficient of scale towards the total station scale triangulation network in the conduct of geodetic and topographic observations in the points with known coordinates (old points) or points whose coordinates we want to determine (new points). The purpose of the study is undertaken to simplify computing operations to reduce distances measured from the topographic surface to the Stereo 70 projection plan.

“…In the field we will determine the inclined distance between the station point and the radiated point, the slope angle as well as the horizontal angle made by one side of the road and the direction of the radiated point. The data processing step (office step) involves either reporting the points in polar coordinates when we will use the short distances to the horizon and the angles measured in the field, or we will use these measurements to determine the rectangular coordinates of these points (Ortelecan at. al., 2016).…”

“…The technical function of the cadastre aims to determine the position, configuration and size of land areas and buildings. These data are obtained through operations specific to the fields of geodesy, topography, photogrammetry and cartography (Herbei et al, 2016;Moscovici et al, 2016;Ortelecan et al, 2016).…”
