“…The success of the initiatives to integrate IL skills into the school curriculum largely depends on the preparedness of teachers in teaching these skills. Teachers' proficiency with these skills is critical as they are expected to play a major role in providing information and knowledge to their students (Godbey and Dema, 2017). Lee et al (2012) investigated preparedness of graduating preservice teachers and found that the majority of respondents did not learn about IL in their programmes, and 77% felt inadequately prepared to teach these skills to their students.…”
