Assessment of Different Brassica Germplasms Against Alternariablight and Its Management Using Naturally Occurring Chemicals

Abstract: In the present study, sixteen advance lines/cultivars of Brssica napus and Brassica juncea were screened out against Alternaria blight of brassica (Alternaria brassicae). Out of eight lines/cultivars of B. napus, no line was found to immune against A. brassicae. Legend, Oscar, and Dgl were moderately resistant under field conditions and Shiralee was highly susceptible to A. blight.
