“…Whereas 88.2% of the first Imrestor injections occurred within a 2-wk window before the actual calving date, 11.8% of the first Imrestor injections were applied outside the ideal timeline. As the latter group would not necessarily be experiencing the immune suppression around calving time (Jahan et al, 2015), it is important to emphasize the necessity to improve the prediction of the calving date.
