Associations between stressful life events and diabetes: Findings from the China Kadoorie Biobank study of 500,000 adults

Abstract: Aims/Introduction Evidence has shown that stressful life events are associated with the development of diabetes, yet studies in mainland China are scarce. In the present study, we explored the associations between cumulative and specific stressful life events and the prevalence of diabetes in Chinese adults.
