Abstract: A Byrsonima crassifolia popularmente conhecida como "murici", é amplamente difundida nas regiões norte, nordeste e centro-oeste por ser bastante utilizada na culinária local, tanto pelo seu gosto exótico, quanto pelos seus efeitos terapêuticos.
