Atmospheric circulation patterns associated with extreme precipitation amounts in Greece

Abstract: Abstract. The main synoptic conditions associated with extreme precipitation amounts in Greece are examined by using a multivariate statistical methodology comprising S-mode Factor Analysis and k-means Cluster Analysis.
