Atypical Hansen’s disease mimicking xanthogranuloma: Role of cytology

Abstract: Fine needle aspiration cytology is a simple, safe, and effective technique that can be used in the diagnosis of cutaneous diseases. Here, we present a case of Hansen’s disease with an erythematous dermal nodule mimicking xanthogranuloma clinically.
