Abstract: BackgroundBardet–Biedl syndrome (BBS) is a multisystemic disorder characterized by rod–cone dystrophy, truncal obesity, postaxial polydactyly, cognitive impairment, male hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, complex female genitourinary malformations, and renal abnormalities.
