Auroral ionospheric F region density cavity formation and evolution: MICA campaign results

Abstract: Scatter Radar) during the MICA (Magnetosphere-Ionosphere Coupling in the Alfvén Resonator) sounding rocket campaign are critically examined alongside complementary numerical simulations.
