Automated Test Sequence Optimization Based on the Maze Algorithm and Ant Colony Algorithm

Abstract: With the rapid development of China train operation and control system, validity and safety of behavioral functions of the system have attracted much attention in the railway domain. In this paper, an automated test sequence optimization method was presented from the system functional requirement specification of the high-speed railway. To overcome the local optimum of traditional ant colony algorithm, the maze algorithm is integrated with the ant colony algorithm to achieve the dynamical learning capacity and… Show more

“…Most studies also applied the state-space approach, differing one each other by the algorithms implemented. Nine studies focused on railway control systems [6,10,11,[32][33][34][35][36][37]. One of them applied the Chinese postman algorithm using the CPN model simulation approach to generate abstract tests [6].…”

“…One of them applied the Chinese postman algorithm using the CPN model simulation approach to generate abstract tests [6]. Eight studies applied other algorithms (e.g., variation of DFS and model checking) using the state-space approach [10,11,[32][33][34][35][36][37]. However, three of the eight studies combined the state-space and structural (i.e., handling the structure of the model) approaches to generate abstract tests [10,32,37].…”

“…In the end, it is established that, suggested approach provides better APFD than the random approach. Zheng and Hu [30]used a hybrid version of ACO for the creation of automated test data sequence for the functional requirement specification of a high-speed train in China. This hybrid ACO is the combination of ACO and Maze algorithm.…”

“…However, efficient railway operations require maintenance and repair equipment timely, so as to avoid the occurrence of a failure, by analyzing the evolution of equipment status [25]. The distributed inspection and monitoring system continues to collect infrastructure status data and train operating status data, which generate relevant information through conversion.…”
