Avaliação dos fatores de risco cardiovasculares em uma população rural brasileira

Abstract: Trata-se de um estudo transversal que avaliou indicadores de saúde cardiovascular em 863 indivíduos adultos residentes em comunidades rurais do Vale do Jequitinhonha, Minas Gerais, Brasil. Foram avaliados sete fatores, quatro comportamentais (dieta, atividade física, tabagismo e peso corporal) e três biológicos (colesterol total, glicemia em jejum e pressão arterial), classificados em níveis ideal, intermediário e ruim.
