In their study conducted in 2000, Stough et al , who examined aircraft accidents caused by weather events such as turbulence, lighting and fog in the past two decades, reported that 33% of the accidents were caused by adverse weather conditions (Stough et al , 2000). Oo and Oo, who examined the aircraft crashes caused by weather events for Yangon region in Myanmar, said that the most important weather event causing aircraft crashes was fog and stormy rain (Oo and Oo, 2022).…”
