Avoiding Pretarsal Denervation in Lower Blepharoplasty Incisions: Refined Pretarsal Motor Nerve Anatomy

Abstract: Background: Pretarsal atrophy is not uncommonly found in patients who have undergone a transcutaneous or transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty due to intraoperative denervation of the pretarsal orbicularis oculi.
