Avulsion of the popliteus tendon in a Border Collie

Abstract: A 6-month-old Border Collie presented with an intermittent non-weight-bearing lameness of the right hind leg for a 3-month period. Avulsion of the popliteus muscle tendon was diagnosed by radiographic and CT evaluation. Fixation with a screw and spiked washer had an excellent outcome.
