B2B E-Commerce Infrastructure Using Agents and Standards — A Potential Impact Analysis and Architecture

Abstract: Multi-agent systems are typically being developed independent of industrial standards. In this paper, we present an agent architecture for business-tobusiness electronic commerce in the domain of circuit board manufacturing that builds on a number of standards. Our architecture builds on the GenCAM standard from the circuit board manufacturing sector and RosettaNet from the B2B community.
