Wiranjaya dance belongs to bebancihan dance that has many lexicons to identify. Culturally, there are some lexicons in Wiranjaya dance used normally, but time by time the lexicons are less frequently used while doing the dance practices. This study was designed in the form of a descriptive qualitative method and aimed to find the lexicons and their cultural meaning. The obtained data were collected from observation and interview techniques. The result of the research showed that there were thirty-eight lexicons of movements that exist in Wiranjaya dance, classified into seven types of movements, such as stage movements (4 lexicons), hand movements (8 lexicons), leg movements (9 lexicons), body movements (8 lexicons), head movements (4 lexicons), eye movements (4 lexicons), fan movements (1 lexicon). Both of those lexicons and their cultural meaning were given benefit for the education fields. The dance teachers can easily give information to the foreigners who want to know the costume of Wiranjaya dance. In addition, it will help the students who are interested in learning lexicons and their cultural meaning. In other words, this study can help preserve local languages and avoid language death.Keywords: lexicons, cultural meaning, movement, Wiranjaya dance

Study This aims To identify ( 1) taboo words, (2) forms of taboo words, and (3) references used in public Village Mundeh, Tabanan. Study This uses the qualitative descriptive. The data type uses primary data instrument study as a table sheet. The deep data collection study technique uses interviews with three original people, Villagin e Mundeh, with criteria that have been set. Procedure Data analysis begins with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and writing a conclusion. Research data in the form of a taboo word in the environment Narayanan, pawing, palemahan, form taboo, and a reference from taboo the. Study This adopts a theory from Frazer (1955), which discusses taboo names and words, and a theory from Montagu (1973), which discusses oath swear. Results show that 5 data were found in the environment parhyangan, 5 in the environment palemahan, and 32 in the environment pawongan. For taboo Names, 6 data were found for words, 13 for swearing words, and reference to taboo is appropriate with theory from Laksana (2009) found data for 12 references. The conclusion from the study This shows that the most data found in the environment pawongan as many as 32 words.

This research aims to find out the lexicons and the cultural meaning in the costumes of the Baris Gede dance. Baris Gede dance is a traditional Balinese dance that tells about warriors fighting on the battlefield. Costumes are an important component in the Baris Gede dance because the costumes used represent the contents of the dance. This research used qualitative research with interviews and observation as the method to obtain the data. The researcher found 14 lexicons in the costumes; head costume (1 lexicon) that is gelungan, neck costume (1 lexicon) which is badong/bapang, hand costume (1 lexicon) which is gelang kana, upper body costume (7 lexicons) which are awiran, oncer, lamak, kwace selem, tali semayut, keris, and urangka and lower body costume (4 lexicons) that are stewel, jaler putih, kancut putih, and sabuk. The cultural meaning relates to the soldiers on the battlefield. Warriors are depicted as dashing and brave figures represented through the Baris Gede dance costume.
