Bandwidth enhancement of rectangular microstrip antenna with a rectangular slot by using a novel hybrid optimization method based on the ABC and DE algorithms

Abstract: In this study, the bandwidth of the rectangular microstrip antenna is improved by using a new integrated technique consisting of a novel hybrid optimization algorithm (HOA) and HyperLynx® 3D electromagnetic platform based on the method of moments (MoM).
