Abstract:Recent calculations of K − nuclear quasi-bound states are reviewed. We focus on the role played by energy dependendence of theKN interactions constructed within chirally motivated coupled channel models that capture the physics of the Λ(1405) resonance. First, we discuss three-body and four-body systems and compare binding energies and widths of kaonic nuclear quasi-bound states calculated using chiral and phenomenologicalKN interactions. Then, we use in-mediumKN scattering amplitudes developed within chirally… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
