Base pressure effect on electrical properties of chromium nanofilms

Abstract: The thickness dependence of chromium films deposited onto a glass substrate is studied in the range 3.5–70 nm. Their electrical resistance grows with the base pressure during the deposition due to the scattering of electrons from impurities. The conduction electron mean free path is determined in the frameworks of Mayadas–Shatzkes theory.
