Basic Engineering Software for Teaching (“BEST”) Dynamics

Abstract: Engineering dynamics is the study of motion, but textbooks and chalkboards, the traditional classroom teaching tools, cannot show that motion. Mechanical models are helpful, but relatively inflexible; they are qualitative, not quantitative.
