Beam-foil lifetimes of O VII in the 10?100 ps-range

Abstract: Measured lifetimes of foil-excited O VII are found to be in good agreement with theoretical predictions. Experimental and evaluational problems are discussed. Examination of the line 2=20.48 nm shows a blending of the second order 2= 10.24 nm transition in O VIII with 3d-7p,f transitions in O VII.
