Physics is taught in our schools based on paradigms formulated in previous decades. Teachers and other experts pay great attention to innovations in content and methods, responding to new trends in pedagogy, psychology and physics itself. Despite these efforts, it is unable to overcome a fundamental problem, namely the lack of interest in physics on the part of students in primary and secondary schools and, as a consequence, lack of interest in the profession of physics teacher. In this article, we focus on one of the possible causes of such a situation, consisting of insufficient knowledge of the student, his needs and characteristics in the current period.
