Bestimmung von deoxynivalenol mittels LC - MS/MS (Tandem Massenspektrometrie)

Abstract: A sensitive and selective method using high-performance liquid chromatography in combination with atmospheric pressure chemical ionization tandem mass spetrometry (LC-APCI-MS/MS) has been developed for the determination of Deoxynivalenol (DON) in trace levels. The extract was purified with a MultiSep™ column followed by the Vicam™ DON immunoaffinity column. Quantification is based on an external standard method using positive Multiple Reaction Monitoring (MRM). The limit of detection was 5 μg/kg with a signal … Show more

“…Levels of different relevant trichothecenes in the oats were analysed at the Institute of Risk Assessment (BfR, Berlin, Germany) using an accelerated solvent extraction online clean-up and high pressure liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry as described previously (Kappenstein et al 2002). The recovery rate for oats was 99.6% at a DON-concentration of 1 ppm, the detection limit was 5.1 ppb and the quantification limit 15.5 ppb.…”
