Total Absorption Spectroscopy of the N=Z Nucleus 72Kr

“…The de-excitation scheme in the daughter nucleus is taken from the most detailed high resolution study of 72 Kr beta decay, which was performed by I. Piqueras and collaborators [13]. In that work, a test of completeness in terms of 1 + levels was done indicating that their scheme was completed up to E exc =1.173 MeV.…”

“…In order to study the sensitivity to the known part, three different sets of information of this part of the level scheme were taken into account: (1) the scheme from Ref. [13] up to an excitation energy of 1 MeV where it was checked to have all 1 + states, (2) same as (1) up to an excitation energy of 2 MeV and (3) modifying the spin-parity of levels in the scheme of case (1) in the region below 1 MeV where most of them were 1 + to 1 − , 2 + and 3 + . For the unknown part of the scheme, variations of the level density parameters a and ∆ of 20% were considered.…”
