Indonesia is the largest economy in the Southeast Asia region, with the largest population in that region as well. Therefore, each productive and industrial sector that helps the growth and development of the country and its population gets attraction. The livestock sector can be a good example of the above. In this sense, the countries that make up the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR), that is, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay (Venezuela is suspended) can contribute to develop the livestock sector in Indonesia, looking for further cooperation and business opportunities that can also help to improve the well-being of Indonesians. The objective in this article will be to make a brief approach to the Indonesian livestock sector in general and the beef market, to understand how the MERCOSUR countries could contribute to the development of that. The results of the analysis indicate that Indonesia should develop its livestock sector using best practices that contribute to sustainable development, with support from the public sector. The use of new technologies could contribute to the improvement of the sector, and bovine genetics can contribute to a greater and better supply. It is concluded that the MERCOSUR countries have opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of the livestock sector in Indonesia, through the signing of relevant legal agreements both at the bilateral level and, in the case of MERCOSUR, acting as a bloc.

Abstrak. COVID-19 melanda dunia memberikan dampak negatif hampir disetiap sektor termasuk sektor petanian. Penurunan harga jual kopi menjadi dampak yang dirasakan petani kopi arabika yang menerapkan Integrated Farming System(IFS) antara kopi arabika dan kambing di Atu Lintang Kabupaten Aceh Tengah. IFS merupakan sistem kolaborasi dua komoditi pertanian, dijalankan secara bersama-sama dengan prinsip sesuatu yang dihasilkan kembali ke alam. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan usahatani kopi dengan penerapan IFS di Atu Lintang masa COVID-19 dan bentuk manfaat yang dihasilkan penerapan IFS. Metode analisis penelitian ini adalah NPV, NetB/C dan Analisis Sensitivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan IFS kopi arabika dengan kambing di Atu lintang masa COVID-19 layak dilaksanakan dengan memperoleh nilai NPV0 sebesar Rp15.651.547 NetB/C1 sebesar 1,14 dan analisis sensitivitas kemungkinan I tidak layak memperoleh NPV0 sebesar -Rp6.561.673, NetB/C1 sebesar 0,95, kemungkinan II layak memperoleh NPV0 sebesar Rp3.062.597, NetB/C1 sebesar 1,02. Petani kopi menerima manfaat penerapan IFS pada masa COVID-19 berbentuk meminimalisirkan pengeluaran dan kerugian karena turunnya harga kopi arabika.Financial Analysis Of Integrated Farming System Toward Coffee Plant And Goat Farmer On Atu Lintang Aceh’s Middle District Amid Covid-19Abstract. The surge of COVID-19 into the world gave negative impacts on every sector including the agriculture sector. The drop of coffee prices is a devastating impact Arabica coffee farmers who are implementing Integrated Farming System(IFS) between Arabica coffee and goat at Atu Lintang, Regency of Middle Aceh are experiencing. IFS is a collaborative system of two agriculture commodities, ran simultaneously with principle of something that is produced returns to nature. The purpose of this research is to analyze the eligibility of business farms with IFS implementation at Atu Lintang in this era of COVID-19 and benefits generated by the implementation of IFS. The analysis methods used in this research are NPV, NetB/C and Sensitivity Analysis. The research results shows the implementation of IFS Arabica coffee and goats at Atu lintang during the COVID-19 period is eligible to be held with an NPV0 value of Rp15.651.547 NetB/C1 value of 1,14 and Sensitivity Analysis hypothesis I is not eligible to gain NPV0 with an amount of -Rp6.561.673, NetB/C1 with a value of 0,95, hypothesis II is eligible to gain NPV0 with an amount of Rp3.062.597, NetB/C1 with a value of 1,02. Coffee farmers receive benefits of the IFS implementation during the COVID-19 period in the form of minimalizing expense and loss because of the drop of Arabica coffee prices.

Oil palm replanting farmers lose income, and it is necessary to look for other sources of income oil Palm replanting have loss. The purpose of the study was to identify the types of food crops and to know the analysis of farming as well as the income contribution of oil palm and food crop farmers in Siak Regency. The method used was a survey method by collecting data through questionnaires, interviews and field observations. Respondents were taken using purposive sampling based on specific criteria: farmers who cultivate oil palm and food crops, Kerinci Kanan District with 37 people and Koto Gasib District with 80 people. Data analysis used farming analysis to determine the amount of farm income in 1 year and analysis of the R/C Ratio (Revenue Cost Ratio) and income contribution. The results showed that there were several types of food crops, namely sweet corn, cayenne pepper, long beans and cassava. Data be used to measuring income from palm oil and food crops. The income analysis of oil palm and food crop farming in units of ha/year is Rp24,373,057 + Rp62,327,713 = Rp86,700,770 /ha/year, and the income of oil palm and food crop farmers in ha/month are Rp2,031,088 + IDR5,193,976 = Rp7,225,064 ha/month. Based on the R/C ratio analysis of the two feasible commodities to be cultivated, the R/C values are 3.82 for oil palm farming and 1.92 for food crop farming, respectively. The contribution of food crops to the total income of farmers at the time was 71.89%, and palm oil contribution was 28.17%.
