Bibliometric analysis: Augmented reality-based physics laboratory with VOSviewer software

Abstract: Augmented reality (AR) is a breakthrough in future technology trends that combine information and virtual objects that draw the user’s imagination into a real scene. The implementation of AR into the world of education will greatly affect the transformation of education, especially in the physics education laboratory. The purpose of this research was to analyze the application of the AR in the physics laboratory by providing bibliometric analysis so that the opportunities for further research can be presented.… Show more

“…The usage of VOSviewer algorithms for higher education context is recurrent and spread in a wide array of specific thematics such as I) sustainability in grey literature at higher education (de Souza Marins, de Souza Ferreira & Ramos, 2021), II) entrepreneurial skills evaluation (Xiyang, 2020), III) physical education management (Zhangyin, 2017), IV) augmented reality in physics education (Putri et al, 2021) and V) interdisciplinarity at education for sustainable development (Martins, 2021). And as expected, the tools were also applied to covid-19 specific topics (Noor et al, 2020).…”

“…The csv form data can be further analyzed using Microsoft Excel, while the ris data can be analyzed using VOSViewer. VOSViewer can help visualize bibliometric networks such as titles, journals, authors, publications and more [29][30][31]. In VOSViewer, data can be displayed in the form of clusters, density, overlay, and network [32].…”
