Bioactivity of Biosilica Obtained From North Atlantic Deep-Sea Sponges

Abstract: Demosponges are a well-known source of a plethora of bioactive compounds. In particular, they are able to form a skeleton by direct deposition of silica in a process catalyzed by silicatein.
