New records are provided for the Rhyparochromid bugs Stictolethaeus inerme (Berg, 1883) and Astemmoplitus nitidus (Blanchard, 1852 (Blanchard, 1852). Se registra a S. inerme por primera vez para la provincia de Neuquén, Argentina; mientras que A. nitidus se registra por primera vez para la Región de Los Lagos, Chile. Futaleufú se convierte en la localidad más meridional conocida para ésta especie. En adición la relación entre A. nitidus y A. gayi (Spinola, 1852) es comentada y clarificada.

ResumenSe describen tres casos teratológicos en ejemplares de Lygaeidae de Chile. El primer caso corresponde a una hemiteria pronotal en Syzygitis poecilus (Spinola, 1852); el segundo caso corresponde a una oligomeria simple en la antena derecha de un ejemplar de S. poecilus; finalmente el tercer caso corresponde a una atrofia con anartrogénesis en Lygaeus alboornatus Blanchard, 1852. Se comentan y discuten las posibles causas de estas malformaciones. Palabras clave:Teratología, teratosis, Hemiptera, Lygaeinae, Ischnorhynchinae, Chile.Abstract Three teratological cases are described for species in the family Lygaeidae from Chile. The first case belongs to a pronotal hemitery in Syzygitis poecilus (Spinola, 1852). The second case belongs to a simple oligomery in the right antenna of a S. poecilus specimen. The third case belongs to an antennal atrophy with anarthrogenesis in Lygaeus alboornatus Blanchard, 1852. The possible causes of these teratosis are commented and discussed.

The Geocorinae, one of the five subfamilies in which the Geocoridae are separated, occur in all zoogeographic regions, and the Neotropical geocorines are represented by four genera: Isthmocoris McAtee, 1914, Ninyas Distant, 1882, Geocoris Fallén, 1814, and the monotypic Stenogeocoris Montandon, 1913 (Henry et al, in press).…”

ABSTRACT. Stenogeocoris Montandon, 1913 was described to include S. horvathi based in one specimen from Córdoba Province, Argentina. The type specimen is lost and there are no records or additional material since the Montandon's description; thus, the identity of this taxon has remained uncertain until now. In this contribution, we redescribe the genus Stenogeocoris and the species S. horvathi, based on male and female specimens, including characters from the male genitalia, and compare Stenogeocoris with the other Neotropical genera.
