Biorecovery of chitin from shrimp shell waste (Litopenaeus vanamme) using fermentation and co-fermentation of L.plantarum and B.thuringiensis

Abstract: Litopenaeus vanamme shrimp shell waste, which is abundantly available in Indonesia, could be optimally utilized through chitin extraction.
