Abstract: ÖzetDünya genelinde son yüzyılda yaşanan gelişmeler enerji kaynağı olarak fosil yakıtların yoğun olarak kullanılmasına neden olmuştur. Günümüzde yaşanan çevresel sorunların önemli bir nedenini teşkil eden fosil yakıtların yerine, çevreye daha az zararlı olan yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının kullanımı, çevre ve insan refahının sağlıklı bir şekilde sürdürülmesi için önem arz etmektedir.
