Businesses, which provide the production and mediation of goods and services needed by the society, are organizations that have goals such as growth, development, making profit, establishing a sustainable structure, and realizing social responsibility projects. It is important for businesses to have a financially strong structure in order to achieve their goals. In order to establish a sustainable financial structure, analyzes are carried out with various methods using the historical data of the enterprises and future decisions are taken with these analysis outputs. One of the financial sustainability measures for businesses is performance measurement. In many academic studies in the literature, it is observed that Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) methods are used for financial performance measurement. With MCDM methods, companies are compared financially within themselves, by years and with the sector. This study was carried out to measure the financial performance of businesses operating in the BIST Paper and Paper Products Printing Sector. As a sample, the data of 9 companies operating in the BIST Paper and Paper Products Printing Sector were used. The financial ratios of the enterprises for the years 2016-2021 were obtained and the analysis was carried out with COPRAS and MOORA, which are MCDM methods. Using two analysis methods provides the opportunity to evaluate financial performance rankings from different perspectives. As a result of the study, the financial performance rankings of 9 companies in the sector were evaluated according to both methods.

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı Türkiye hastane hizmetleri alt sektörünün finansal performansının değerlendirilmesidir. Bu amaçla Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası'nın yayımladığı sektör bilançoları yardımıyla "Hastane Hizmetleri Alt Sektörü"nün 2011-2013 yılları arasındaki finansal tabloları oran yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda öncelikle sektörün varlık ve kaynak yapısı incelenmiş daha sonra sektöre ait likidite, finansal yapı, varlık kullanım ve karlılık oranları tarafımızca hesaplanmıştır. Değerlendirme sonucunda sektörün varlık yapısının sabit varlık ağırlıklı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Likidite oranları açısından sektörün likidite durumunun zayıf olduğu saptanmıştır. Sektörün finansal yapısının ise ağırlıklı olarak yabancı kaynaklardan meydana geldiği, özsermayesinin zayıf olduğu ve finansal riskinin yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Varlık kullanım oranları açısından ise sektördeki işletmelerin stoklarını etkin kullanamadığı belirlenmiştir. Sektörün karlılık oranları incelendiğinde ise sektörün karlılık performansının analiz süreci içerisinde zayıf olduğu saptanmıştır.

Energy is a factor that composes the most important input of economic development, especially manufacturing. The energy requirement that is the result of modern life and emerging economy has increased the importance of the enterprises operating in this sector. The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial performance of 6 enterprises, which are traded in Borsa İstanbul and included in the scope of research, in the period of 2011-2019 by using multi criteria decision-making techniques. By analyzing the financial statements and the structure of the energy sector, 20 financial ratios were calculated and determined as the criteria set. The financial performance of these enterprises has been converted to grey performance scores by representing gray numbers. The financial performance of enterprises was analyzed with the Grey Relational Analysis method to represent the significance of the grey entropy criteria that were calculated using the grey performance scores. According to analysis, Aksa Energy is the most ideal enterprise and Zorlu Energy is the enterprise the furthest from the ideal.
