Alguns autores deixam claro que o envolvimento do ví-treo não foi pré-requisito para o diagnóstico de endoftalmite, o que para outros era indispensável (11,12,14) , inclusive com comprovação ecográfica (15) . Tais casos, então, deveriam ser caracterizados como portadores de panoftalmite, como o caso apresentado, e não como endoftalmite.…”
