Blockchain-based secure and fair crowdsourcing scheme

Abstract: The crowdsourcing schemes which utilize the social network to solve complex tasks are an important part of open cooperation over the Internet. Although blockchain-based crowdsourcing schemes have considerable advantages in decentralization and data sharing, there is still a challenge to gurantee the security of crowdsourced-sensitive information and the fairness of crowdsourcing on the blockchain. To this end, this article investigates a crowdsourcing scheme based on blockchain. First, we define the basic requ… Show more

“…The uncertainty of this factor was due to the challenges of urban traffic congestion, distances to remote areas, invalid or wrong ad-dresses, locations that are difficult to find, no one being able accept the goods, buyer regret-not accepting the goods, bad parking, no elevators, etc. Such uncertainties are also the most worrisome situations for office workers [27][28][29].…”

“…A total of 1098 Taiwanese consumers were surveyed on their use of smart pickup lockers [27][28][29]. According to Table 9, based on the participants from the metropolitan areas in northern, central, and southern Taiwan, it can be seen that the top four rankings of office workers using smart lockers are the same as in Table 11.…”

“…Tanas et al used blockchain to decentralize data crowdsourcing, but they did not consider privacy and anonymity which are fundamentally arguable for basic utility [11]. Zhang et al using secure hash, commitment, and homomorphic encryption, proposes a blockchain-based crowdsourcing scheme named BFC [12]. Zhu et al proposed a hybrid blockchain-based named zkCrowd.…”

“…In the early stage of the development of blockchain, its characteristics, such as data untamability, traceability and robustness of data storage system make people tended to focus their attention on data governance. Some researchers believed that blockchain technology had the characteristics of distributed, tamper-resistant and traceable, and it could solve the problem of data island and data ownership confirmation, realize trust coordination across regions and institutions, and improve collaboration efficiency in the field of public health and security governance [16]. Other researchers considered that data sharing based on blockchainto be a big step forward in data sharing [17], and had a protection mechanism for sensitive data, which could resolve trust issues between partners and conductinstitutions that did not trust each other to reach a consensus in cooperation [18].…”
